What is the ACC?

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) reviews requests from homeowners who wish to make changes to the exterior of their property. The goal is to maintain the consistent appearance and property values that make Bridgefield a desirable place to live — not to create unnecessary barriers for homeowners.

What Requires ACC Approval?

  • Fences (new installation or replacement. Must be 5' wrought iron)
  • Pool houses to store pool pump & equipment
  • Decks, patios, or significant additions to existing hardscape
  • Exterior paint color changes
  • Driveways (expansion, resurfacing with new material)
  • Pools, hot tubs, or play structures visible from the street
  • Landscaping changes that substantially alter the front yard
  • Solar panels or other rooftop installations

Questions Before You Submit?

If you're not sure whether your project needs approval, just ask. A quick message to the board can save everyone time.
